Our Team

Experts who believe in kids

Our programs are designed and led by Emory clinical psychologists who are experts and leaders in youth mental health. We’re clinicians, researchers, and educators – treating kids, publishing on anxiety and mood disorders, and training clinicians across the country. With an intentionally low staff-to-child ratio (2:1), we provide a level of support, connection, and clinical skill that’s hard to find anywhere else.

We bring together clinical expertise, creativity, and a shared belief that kids can do hard things when they have the right support and tools.

Allison LoPilato, PhD

Co-Founder & Director

Allison loves building spaces where kids can practice handling tricky emotions and worries. Equal parts playful, competitive, and supportive, she enjoys finding creative ways to make therapy skills stick in real life. When she’s not at camp or in the clinic, you’ll find her chasing after her two boys, sneaking in a neighborhood walk, or happily talking about the genius of Taylor Swift.

Rebecca Schneider, PhD

Co-Founder & Director

Rebecca is passionate about helping kids face fears, try new things, and discover that they can handle more than they think. She specializes in anxiety and exposure-based work and brings warmth, curiosity, and humor to camp. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her spending time with her two toddlers, hiking or waterskiing outdoors, reading, or cheering on the UNC Tar Heels basketball team.

Katie Cullum, PhD

Senior Clinical Lead

Katie loves helping kids see the best in themselves. With warmth, enthusiasm, and curiosity, she values collaborating with campers to identify meaningful ways they can practice facing big fears and feelings, celebrating both big and small steps along the way. Outside of work, you can find her with her two dogs, at the pottery wheel, or volunteering at an animal shelter.

Morgan Kemper, LMSW, Ed.S

Program Manager

Morgan thrives on details and loves helping our programs run smoothly behind the scenes. She’s passionate about connecting children to spaces that foster self-confidence and self-acceptance- and when she’s not at camp, she enjoys coaching soccer, snuggling with her fluffy cat, and debating the best fast food fry.
